. Genuine Watermark - Introduction

A Genuine watermark is a pattern embedded into the paper structure itself, pressed in by a roller-mounted die while the loose fibers are still wet - hence the name "Watermark."

Genuine watermarks come in three types:

Wire;
Shaded;
Wire & Shaded Combination.

All bring an elegant and distinctive touch to business stationery without interfering with letterhead graphics or the printability of the sheet on lithographic or office equipment.

Genuine watermarks reproduce beautifully on all Fox River script (i.e. 90 gsm) and writing grades (i.e. 104 gsm & 118 gsm), including 25% and 100% cotton content, recycled, sulphite and tree-free fiber sheets. The uniformity of Fox River papers ensures that the watermark appears crisp and clean. Subtle yet visible, private watermarks on Fox River stationery papers provide readers with a gentle reminder of the sender's identity.
